Tomorrow I leave for Chernobyl, Ukraine to visit the sight of the worlds worse nuclear disaster. The nuclear reactor there exploded back in the 80’s and caused huge amount of radiation to pour out all over Europe causing thousands of deaths. I will be entering the 30km exclusion zone controlled by the military and will be exploring the power plant, Pripyat the city left abandoned after the disaster and the surrounding area. It has been a dream of mine for many years and Im finally doing it. Im excited but also nervous but its a once in a lifetime experience that I cannot miss. Wish me luck!
